Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! Practicing gratitude for everything & every experience in this life is something that truly transformed my life. One of the most powerful experiences I had with gratitude was in 2015 when I got fired from a corporate job that I felt like literally drained my soul every day I stepped into that office. When they let me go I sat there crying in a total state of fear “how will I pay my bills?” “What about health insurance” etc etc. Then I remembered what my mentor used to say “the more grateful you are the more life gives you to be grateful for.” So I stopped crying I stopped trying to rationalize why I was fired for not reaching goals that were never given to me in that moment I chose gratitude. I took a deep breath & surrendered as I dove deep into what would turn into an ocean of gratitude.
Because I chose gratitude I chose to find a learning lesson in that chaotic situation - I learned SO much maybe ill share that in another post 🧐. I chose to remember that despite what my limited human brain could rationalize-losing that job was for my highest good. Looking back almost 3 years later I am humbled by just how right I was about that.
Because of all of this today I am even more grateful that I have learned its called self love when you step away from toxic work environments. I am grateful that I have surrounded myself by supportive loving souls in all aspects of my life. I am grateful that I have learned through the most difficult experiences that speaking your truth & listening to your intuition is always the right thing to do it serves us no good to live a life of misery because you feel bound by obligation to something that does not serve your highest good.
Start your gratitude today but when the holiday is over don’t forget to root yourself in gratitude every single day. Remember there is always something to be grateful for there is always something to learn & the universe is always working for your highest good. 👇🏽👇🏽I am grateful for each & everyone of you. Come speak from your heart with me & share in the comments a message or a life experience you are grateful for. 🙃🙃 📸 @cameronmora #yogaeverydamnday
