I am proud of myself. Each a day is a fight I’m really tryna tell y’all... everybody thinks the shit is sweet. But it’s really not. You gotta kill yourself everyday to push yourself to grow back stronger. I know what it is I have to do to get what I want. And I’m growing smarter everyday. I learned that my body isn’t ready to sustain the workload I want for it if I don’t split my workout up.... Meaning I have to sometime during the day do my 10 min circuit. Each switches each day todays was 10 min workout 10 lunge jumps 20 squats 6 pull ups 10 base jumps 20 crunches 10 burpees. Sooo...these have been my accountability posts for my 10-week #slamchallenge2018 check if you have a SLAM in your area. It’s an incredible program and community. . . Well I’ve been busy traveling this week and to ally missed posting this earlier in the week bc #lifehappens . So I figured I’d share 5 of my tips for staying on track during travel and also my workouts. And ya I’m gonna be real with you... . . • Chug! Drink water at every opportunity! Like more water than you can stand. Your skin and tummy will thank you and you’ll honestly enjoy your trip so much more. • Treat yo self but pick and choose the moments. Try your best to find healthy options wherever you go — you’ll feel so much better! But ya this is ‘cation after all so when you really want to indulge so It! Just not every meal and maybe not to excess keep the 80% full idea in mind and wait 20 minutes to decide if you want more. • Move. Walk around he airport while you wait for you flight have a small routine like 10 push-ups morning and night utilize YouTube subscribe to a digital exercise content network or do like me and join a great community. My SLAM family posts a daily workout challenge for the week right now plus a live workout on Tuesdays and a written challenge on Thursdays. • Oil up! Bring you favs with you for immune support and energy. I already did a post on this but some Of my favs are thieves hand sanitizer and spray my baby’s roller and panaway. Grab a cute oils travel bag to pop in your carry-on and add roller tips for easy application. • Last but best RELAX 💕 Enjoy. Try your best take a few moments to think before you choose but if you over indulge a bit or skip a workout so what? Some days my workout is 20 push-ups some days I grab the hubs hand my babe over to his Abuelita and do a SLAM challenge and other days we walk the neighborhood with the family. We try to stay moving and eat so we feel good and can enjoy our trip that’s the main focus as It should be. You all wanna know WHY I drink this "stuff"? Ill tell you why. In my life Ive been a pretty healthy person. Yes Ive fallen off here and there ... but for the most part Ive eaten clean organic and minimally processed foods for the past 7 years or so. Actually pretty much my life ... with a few interruptions! #lifehappens But something was lacking. I was always tired. D R A G G I N G through each day. Felt like I was living on coffee. No ... I WAS! Crashed in the afternoon and my pick-me-up??? A box of sugar. Yup. No joke. I was the 3 pm "where is my sugar fix" girl. Swedish Fish Sour Patch Kids Good N Plenty give me ALL THE CANDY! Then .... crash! shocker! And sick .... Oh. MY. God. Always sick! Colds and sore throats all the time. I got ear infections and strep at LEAST once a year ... and that was a good year. Havent been since since I started drinking it! 👐 I learned I wasnt getting all my vitamins and about 4 years ago started supplementing with a good vitamin I had to special order. Most traditional ones have allergy triggering ingredients ... check your labels I was told about these superfoods and I was like. Nah. Im good. Ill just eat my food. Thanks. 😜 Superfoods? Wtf are those? 🤔 Then ... I just went ... what the HECK? Why not try it? Something has GOT to give! Within ONE week I felt noticeably different. I didnt crave crap. I had more energy. Se johtuu siitä että Matildan takana hääräävän Lotan elämä on kausiluontoista ja kun jossain muualla tapahtuu on Matilda hetken hiljempaa. Juuri nyt on kesken kovin intensiivinen opiskelukevät ja sellainenkin iso asia joka alkaa geellä ja loppuu uuhun. Näillä mennään nyt luovuus on töissä joka tapauksessa. Pyörittelen myös ajatusta fiiliskollaaseista kerran viikossa - sellaisista joissa voisi pohdiskella asioiden etenemistä ja viikon aikana kerääntyneitä tuntemuksia. Ehkä aloitan jo tänä viikonloppuna. When Matilda goes quiet it means theres other stuff going on elsewhere this spring its an intense period of studying and an early-stage masters thesis.
